Why memorize? We must always be ready to bring Scripture forth when we are being tempted to sin and we must always be ready to "give an answer" to those who ask us about our faith. This readiness comes by hiding the Word of God in our hearts (Psalm 119:11).

Memorizing Scripture will bring victory into your daily walk. We are told in Colossians 3:16 that we are to "let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom." To dwell in a place is to reside.

How does this system work? It works for you. You may memorize Scripture as quickly or as slowly as you like. You may memorize by topics, by chapters, by book, or by various other ways we offer ... OR ... that you can think up.

Accountability is at the heart of this system. Memorizing Scripture is a serious matter; it involves discipline and our flesh will meet that discipline with much resistance.

We have incorporated into this ministry a system that will acknowledge completion of Scripture portions that will help you in Scripture memory review.

Which Version should I memorize? The one you are most comfortable with. We will be using the King James Version (KJV) for the pages we create to accommodate this ministry. It has been suggested by those involved in teaching Bible Memory that the KJV is the easiest version in Scripture Memorization.

Memory Verse Report Form has been provided to ensure that we receive your chart name, your version memorized, and your verses memorized. Please be sure to include the Scripture Reference with your verse(s). You do not have to type out your whole verse if you do not want. If the Report Form doesn't work for you please feel free to email the information to memoryverse@aol.com.

Memory Verse Tips	Check out some wonderful tips that will help you learn your verses. If you have a tip that works for you, send it our way and we'll add it to the list.
Report Form	Use this form to report which verse you have memorized or to let me know which series of verses you "will be" memorizing. This will enable me to build a page for any given series/topics.
Options	The options below are only suggestions. You do not have to use them if you do not want.
Topical	Many topics to choose from or create your own. Resources can include Bible Memory by MEMLOK
Top 10	Pick the verses of your choice. They may not be 10 consecutive verses from the same passage.
Chapter	Know Psalm 23 by heart? Or some other chapter?
Portion	Some of us have memorized large portions of Scripture. These large portions are consecutive verses of Scripture (5 verses or more) but don't qualify as memorizing the whole chapter.
911	You may pick any 10 or more verses from Scripture that you call upon whenever you need comfort and help from our Lord. These verses may be verses you have learned for other categories.

The Great I AM	These are Scriptures where Jesus declared "I AM."
Roman's Road	Many have used the "Roman's Road" to present the Gospel Message to others. Also, we have added a unique "Flash Presentation" of the Roman's Road.
